And so a new quarter at school begins and I feel better about this quater than last, the classes won't be nearly as difficult.  I have Portfolio 2 in which I am continuing the Hans Holbein work I've been doing and I am going to improve it a lot, especially in the printing area and the (digital) drawing.  I think my biggest concern is where to get models (so if anyone reading this is in the area of Philadelphia PA and would like their portrait taken in their faire garb, send me a message!) and clothes.  Since I used all my clothes on my friends for the last set I did, I'm not sure how to continue.  I've posted on renaissancefestival.com and got nothing, on groups on myspace and facebook, still nothing.  I'll post here on groups as well, see if anyone is interested in a free portrait.  I know it'll all turn out somehow, it always does.  Someone suggested doing the Holbein treatment on modern fashion and I'm not sure how I feel about it, also I don't own anything considered fashionable.

It'll all come together.

But yea anyone want a portrait of themselves in their garb in the style of Hans Holbein the Younger's sketches let me know!

So this is a cool site.  I am Amanda, a 21 year old Renaissance Faire enthusiast.  I have attended the New York Renaissance Faire for the past 8 or so years and have enjoyed every moment of it.  I am also a photography major at the Art Institute of Philadelphia and I have begun to to do more portrait photography and specialize in making it resemble the drawings of Hans Holbein the Younger.  So far I have had much success and have enjoyed the process immensely.

I can't think of much else to write.
